No Retin-A 2 weeks before or 4 weeks after
No Botox or fillers 2 weeks before or after
No cream usually needed. If dry, use a tiny amount of Bepanthen or Vitamin A & D ointment to support healing.
Use cold pads to reduce swelling (no water or ice directly on eyes)
Avoid eye make-up and keep dry for 5 days.
Healing Stages
Day 1:
Looks dark and bold.
Mild swelling and redness are normal.
Days 2–3:
Still dark, may look thicker.
Eyes can feel tight or puffy.
Days 4–6:
Flaking starts — colour may look patchy.
Don’t pick or rub.
Days 7–10:
Colour may look faded or “gone” (ghosting phase).
Weeks 3–4:
Colour returns and evens out.
6–8 Weeks:
Touch-up perfects the shape and colour.
If prone to cold sores, takeantiviral medication or Lysine beforehand.
Avoid teeth whitening products — they may affect healing.
Lip lightening may cause temporary darkening during healing — this is normal.

What to Expect:
The remover keeps working after your session — pigment will continue to rise to the surface
Little to no fluid is normal
A light scab or crust may form — Picking at scabs is the most common cause of scarring
Healing can take up to 8 weeks (faster if the skin reacts well)
If any bleeding happens, treat it like fluid — only rare cases need wound care
